We are a technology and design institute. We do not teach manufacturing engineering, materials science or production management. We teach the data analytics, operator interface design, platform engineering and digital marketing capabilities that modern manufacturing operations run on — applied to the specific workflows, standards and safety constraints of industry.
Scope: We work in manufacturing data analytics, operator interface design, industrial platform engineering and supply chain analytics. We do not work in mechanical engineering, materials science, production planning, manufacturing process design or safety certification. We work with institutions that do.
About Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 in India
Indian manufacturing is at an inflection point. The government's Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme is driving investment across electronics, pharmaceuticals, automotive, textiles and food processing. Pune's automotive cluster — the largest in India — is navigating a complex transition toward electric vehicles, which is reshaping the skill requirements of both manufacturers and their supply chains. Gujarat's industrial base is expanding with new chemical, energy and industrial infrastructure investment.
Industry 4.0 adoption in Indian manufacturing is uneven. Large automotive and engineering companies — Tata Motors, Mahindra, Bosch — have invested significantly in connected plant infrastructure, MES systems and industrial IoT. Mid-sized manufacturers are often earlier in this journey, which creates a different kind of opportunity: being part of building the data capability rather than operating a mature one.
The data stack in manufacturing differs from consumer tech. SCADA systems and PLCs generate time-series data at frequencies that standard analytics tools were not designed for. ERP systems — almost universally SAP in large Indian manufacturing — hold procurement, inventory and finance data but often require specialised extract processes. MES systems bridge the gap but are frequently custom or legacy. Professionals entering this space benefit from understanding these systems conceptually, even if they are not operating them directly.
Quality data is a particular focus: Indian manufacturers exporting to Europe, North America or Japan face stringent quality data documentation requirements. Roles in quality analytics at export-oriented manufacturers involve more regulatory documentation than equivalent roles at domestic-focused companies.
